May 7, 2007 - InnerSpace announced the availability of three new small diameter scope cabinets that are ideal for storing bronchoscopes, cystoscopes, ureteroscopes and other small diameter flexible endoscopes.
Two free-standing cabinets are offered in either powder-coated metal or melamine, along with a wall-mounted powder coated metal cabinet. The cabinets house up to five small diameter scopes.
Scope managers feature a contoured rear cavity to cradle and protect the scope's fiber optic bundle and a soft overmolded substrate to cushion the scope body. Connector managers hold the scope's light source connector assembly.
Additional features/benefits include:
- Locking roll-top door facilitates opening/closing and minimizes access to expensive scopes
- Top and bottom air vents promote ambient air circulation
- Cushioned back-wall minimizes damage to distal tips
- Removable drip tray collects residual fluids
An optional electronic keyless entry eliminates the need for keys and encourages lock compliance. A top-mounted air ventilation system is another available option. The system automatically activates when the door is closed, providing increased ventilation and reduced humidity levels.
