April 17, 2007 - Stellate recently introduced its Vita ICU, a neurological monitoring system that incorporates a simplified display with a graphic user interface and touchscreen controls.
Vita ICU features several customizable trending options including cerebral function monitor display, automatic quantification of burst suppression activity and color density spectral array, that each facilitate identification and review of critical events.
E-mail and pager alerts may be programmed for notification of attending physicians while away from the ICU. Additionally, Vita ICU's networking and remote access feature allows for review and intervention when required, without the need to be physically present in the ICU.
