NEC Display Solutins will preview the NEC MultiSync 5-Megapixel Grayscale display, the 2.3-Megapixel Color NEC MultiSync LCD2490UXi and LCD2690UXi, the 2-Megapixel Color NEC MultiSync LCD5710 and the 2-Megapixel Color NEC Multeos Multi-Function monitors, at SIIM 2007.
As part of the MD-series, this display also possesses X-Light technology. This technology is important for doctors who make diagnostics using medical images and have two displays side-by-side and the patient scans (before and after) are reviewed to detect progress. NEC has developed the X-Light technology to ensure that both monitors adjust to the same “white point” with the exact same brightness, which is critical in determining a patient’s progress.
