March 4, 2008 - DR Systems exhibited at NCBC the most recent mammography capabilities for the Unity RIS/PACS platform, including breast imaging, reporting and tracking functions, aiming to provide a complete solution for digital mammography.
Mammography functions of the Unity RIS/PACS are designed to ease compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and generate mammographer outcome report cards and site-specific outcome audits. It also tracks delinquent work-ups. Multiple alternative interfaces can be chosen if a facility would like to use a third-party tracking system.
Exams in all modalities, including third-party CAD and digitized prior film-based mammograms can be read on one workstation and patient information can all be accessed on the same system, according to the company.
