May 19, 2008 - LumitexMD has introduced a new miniaturized version of its LightMat Surgical Illuminator called MicroBright, which is 1-cm wide with a light length of 4 cm, making it a reportedly ideal solution for improving visualization in smaller incision surgeries.
MicroBright is a disposable, single-use device that incorporates LumitexMD's patented LED-based fiber optic technology to provide cool, bright, shadowless light utilizing a six-layer fiber optic panel that radiates a bright area light within the surgical cavity, said the company.
