September 2, 2008 - Quantum Medical Imaging has released the QR-LCH - Rolling Lateral Cassette Holder to accommodate portable DR panels, CR and film cassettes up to 14-by-17 inches with convenient size adjustment locks, allowing for easy positioning of imaging plates of any size or kind around the patient.
The QR-LCH reduces positioning time in the emergency room, operating room and/or radiographic examination room. It also provides an excellent platform for performing patella views, the company says.
Vertical travel of up to 45.9 inches (116.6cm) makes examining lower extremities fast and simple. The receptor tilts a full 90 degrees to create a flat top for extremities, such as hands, while the plus/minus 90-degree rotation enables unique angles to be easily achieved.
