Kubtec introduces its all new XPERT 40 digital specimen radiography system, a compact, self-contained, shielded cabinet X-ray system. This mobile system is the only one in the world that is available with up to an 8” x 8” (20 cm x 20 cm) digital radiography detector for inspection of surgically excised needle core biopsies and tissue specimens. With its 1.0 mA x-ray source, the XPERT provides the highest signal to noise ratio and hence the highest image quality or the lowest chances of missing micro-calcifications.

All XPERT systems come equipped with a number of advanced technology tools including advanced auto-calibration, automatic exposure control, and automatic window leveling to provide optimal imaging of all specimens. Real-time, remote system consultation with trained applications specialists is also included. Applications support and training as well as diagnostic checks and upgrades are available remotely by factory trained personnel.

Compact size, low weight, and standard AC power requirement allow the XPERT 40 to be conveniently located and operated in Pathology, Radiology or Surgery.
