Philips Medical Systems has unveiled its integrated cardiovascular information system to the European market, and demonstrated the commercial release of Motiva, its interactive healthcare platform, for the first time in Europe.
The World Congress of Cardiology as its stage, the company introduced Xcelera R2.1, which now integrates exam results from all key cardiology subspecialties, including interventional cardiology, cardiovascular ultrasound, ECG, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, cardiac MR and electrophysiology.
Philips says the patient-focused technologies enable cardiologists to act earlier, react faster and make more accurate treatment decisions as they face a dramatic increase in
the number of cardiac patients who require treatment.
Motiva, a TV-based interactive healthcare platform, empowers patients to play a greater role in managing their own chronic conditions.
