June 19, 2007 - Imaging Dynamics Company (IDC) recently announced that it has received the Frost & Sullivan North American Technology Innovation of the Year Award for 2007, recognizing the quality and depth of the company's research and development program for its digital radiography (DR) technology.
“By launching our newest DR technology, the X-Series, in early July at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) conference, we will demonstrate our commitment to constant innovation," states Robin Winsor, Chief Technical Officer.
According to research done by Frost & Sullivan, "It has to be recognized that IDC has made a significant breakthrough on the digital imaging front in that it represents a viable alternative for front end digital capture by employing a single, very high density charge coupled device (CCD) camera. In addition, the technology offers a platform to produce high quality, digital X-ray images using low dose, and at the lowest system cost."
