May 22, 2008 - I-Flow Corp., through its wholly-owned subsidiary AcryMed, today donated 1,000 tubes of its SilvaSorb antimicrobial gel product to the Red Cross of China for distribution to earthquake victims in Sichuan Province, China.

The company offered its help last week by donating the available product and arranged for immediate shipping to China after a plea from its Chinese partner. According to reports out of China, the earthquake has left about 50,000 people dead and an estimated 300,000 injured. The unclean conditions following the disaster are raising fear of the spread of dangerous infections. AcryMed's SilvaSorb is a unique topical gel containing a silver-ion antimicrobial compound that kills bacteria and fungus commonly associated with wounds and burns.

Three years ago AcryMed assisted Medical Teams International in helping the tsunami victims in south Asia.

SilvaSorb was recently cleared by the FDA for over the counter distribution and is available as a CVS brand anti-microbial silver gel. SilvaSorb is also distributed to medical professionals in the U.S. by Medline Industries.
