Swissray International, a manufacturer of direct digital radiography (ddR) systems, announced they have sold another of their ddRFormula Plus systems to Swedish American Health System in Rockford, Ill., bringing the total to four DR systems installed at the location.
“Two major factors for being a repeat buyer with Swissray is that service has been exceptional along with the ease of use of their ddRSystems,” said Brian Johnson, manager of medical imaging, of Swedish American. “The Swissray equipment is very intuitive and easy to use for my staff. The image quality has impressed our radiologists and referring physicians as well. Our most recent purchase of the ddRFormula Plus fit our space and technology needs perfectly”.
Swissray also installed a ddRFormula Plus at Princeton Orthopaedic Associates in Princeton, N.J. and another system at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colo.
“Swissray equipment has always intrigued me with the simple versatility of it," said Lois Heater, director of diagnostic imaging, Longmont United Hospital. "I wanted a unit that would work well for all types of patients, whether ambulatory or wheelchair bound. I think we found it with the ddRFormula Plus."
