March 15, 2007 - GE Healthcare introduced today ViewPoint 2007, a data management solution for ob/gyn practices, vascular labs and diagnostic ultrasound users, at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) show, providing reporting and image archiving capabilities for clinicians, while streamlining ultrasound workflow.

New ViewPoint 2007 features are designed to help improve ultrasound workflow. These new features include split-screen mode and dual monitor support simultaneous display of images and reports on one or two monitors. It allows clinicians to compare images from two examinations of the current patient. New integrated 4D View version 6.0 is fully compatible with GEs Voluson E8 and Voluson 730 images, but provides higher resolution and a new look onscreen.

Enhanced reporting features include fetal growth overview, which is designed to provide an overview of growth of all fetuses within the pregnancy, fetal anatomy overview and laboratory test overview. The fetal anatomy screen is a single screen that displays reportedly all fetal anatomy regions based on AIUM guidelines for extended second trimester fetal scan.
