March 14, 2008 - GE Healthcare showcased at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) Annual Meeting this week, improvements made to its Voluson E8 Breakthrough 2008, now featuring Sonography-based Automated Volume Count (SonoAVC) software, designed to deliver an efficient method of calculating the number and volume of ovarian follicles.
The company also highlighted its LOGIQ i compact ultrasound system, a 10-pound system with volume imaging, designed to provide portability and high-performance ultrasound imaging and wireless capability for radiology, vascular, neonatal, breast and musculoskeletal imaging for areas with constricted space, such as the ICU or NICU.
