October 5, 2011 — Fukuda Denshi USA has announced the introduction of the company's new UF-760AG ultrasound system in the United States. The color portable unit provides imaging quality in a compact system and is designed for diagnostic use in numerous specialty markets.
The system includes both 3-D and 4-D imaging. Three modes of Doppler (continuous wave, pulsed wave and color) are available, along with stress echo, spatial compounding, speckle reduction, tissue harmonic and tissue specific imaging. The device also features two probe connectors.
The onboard imaging archive can hold more than 150,000 still images, displayed on a 15-inch matrix thin film transistor (TFT) LCD flat monitor. Battery life is approximately one hour.
