July 8, 2010 — Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. announced this week that the FCR XG5000 has secured the highest ranking – “Best in KLAS” – in the “2010 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Medical Equipment” report for the multi-plate computed radiography category.
Each year the research firm KLAS independently evaluates vendor performance through the active participation of thousands of health care organizations and products. Contributing to Fujifilm’s number one ranking was customer feedback and ratings on functional strengths such as reliability, increased efficiency and fast cycle times.
The XG5000 is designed to meet the demands of a high-volume imaging department, with four independent cassette insertion drivers, allowing for high-performance in busy imaging environments, and speeds of up to 165 images per hour and image previews beginning in as little as 13 seconds.
In addition to winning the coveted “Best in KLAS” award in the multi-plate CR category, the company was also recognized with an impressive number two ranking in the “2010 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Medical Equipment” report for overall performance of medical equipment vendors.
