November 9, 2011 – USARAD.com announced FindRad.com, a national radiology directory with benefits for both patients and imaging centers. This resource enables patients to search for radiology centers throughout the United States, review background information about the facilities and schedule an appointment online instantly. A comprehensive resource containing almost 14,000 diagnostic imaging sites, FindRad.com lists outpatient imaging centers, hospital radiology departments, mobile radiology companies and physician offices with imaging capabilities.

FindRad.com provides advanced search features including search by zip code and distance radius, procedures offered, languages spoken and insurance coverage, among other options. The directory is updated daily and also includes such interactive features as patient feedback, links to imaging facility websites and driving directions.

Every day thousands of patients search for radiology service online and imaging centers benefit tremendously from FindRad.com service by attracting new business. For preferred providers, FindRad.com takes website traffic and instantly converts it into appointments. Patients are able to schedule radiology visits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. FindRad.com helps radiology practices by broadening their visibility, and will be especially powerful for practices that receive strong patient reviews and feedback.

FindRad.com will also help facilities alleviate lost productivity due to last minute cancellations by filling those times with new patients.

The innovative new website is a free nationwide service for the patients, and basic listings are also free for the radiology centers.

As a special introductory offer, a preferred membership for centers is now offered on a complimentary basis until December 31, 2012.  This membership allows access to sophisticated online appointment tools, a special featured listing position, advertising of fees for cash payment patients and appointment reminders.  Preferred membership is privileged and available on a first-come, first-serve basis within a particular zip code.  FindRad.com reserves the right to limit availability based on a proprietary formula. During site pre-launch testing, almost 100 imaging facilities already signed up for preferred membership. New facilities are joining daily.

Plans are underway to expand the website to cover worldwide services. Technology features also are being expanded.  For example, automatic real-time appointment book synchronization with most major scheduling applications will be available in the near future.
