March 8, 2007 - According to the University of Florida, findings show that cancer can cause bone marrow to make blood vessels which feed and help cancer thrive, revealing that instead of using medicine to treat thyroid disease, doctors may someday be able to use bone marrow to repair damaged thyroid tissue.
