Emageon Demonstrates New Features for EVMS 5.30

Emageon has added new features to its new Enterprise Visual Medical System (EVMS) System Release 5.30 , and will be displaying them at RSNA 2006.
Among these new features are: Technologist QC, a native quality control tool that runs in the EVMS Advanced Visualization environment, providing a streamlined process and enabling users to correct errors before interpretation occurs. From any secure workstation located inside or outside the enterprise, a user can edit demographics, merge patients or studies, split studies, renumber images, match on Modality Worklist (MWL), correct images and more; Personal Content Management (PCM), a tool that goes beyond traditional “teleradiology” in that the entire user environment is distributed throughout the enterprise rather than just the images; and Enhanced Web Admin, a comprehensive toolset for PACS administrators, radiology IT and radiology directors. It offers data mining capabilities with reports, configuration tools, audit logs, policy-based deletion settings and more.
