June 7, 2007 - Eizo Nanao announced the release of the RadiForce RX210 2-megapixel LCD monitor at SIIM. The new monitor is designed to meet the grayscale and color diagnostic imaging needs of hospitals. Image sharing between departments along with advances in image processing technology have increased the need for high-level, multipurpose monitors capable of displaying both color and monochrome images, the company reported.
With a high brightness of 600 cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 600:1, the new monitor is suitable for DR and DR image display. To meet AAPM, DIN and JESRA quality control standards, the RX210 comes equipped with Eizo’s Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function, which adjusts the luminance according to the measured data.
Switching between color and monochrome modes can be accomplished through a button on the front bezel or through the use of ScreenManager Pro, ensuring that when an application is opened, it automatically displays images in the assigned mode.
