Compressus, SIS, Micro Solutions Sign Deal to Promote Interoperability

April 8, 2009 – At HIMSS 2009, Compressus said it had entered into a strategic partnerships with Avnet HealthPath reseller partners Software Information Systems (SIS) and Micro Solutions, designed to accelerate access to comprehensive interoperability solutions and to potential federal healthcare IT stimulus funds.

Compressus MEDxConnect is a software solution that indexes, integrates and routes all relevant patient medical information in real time. Focused exclusively on providing interoperability solutions, MEDxConnect was built from the ground up to address the need for connectivity across disparate HIS, RIS, PACS and related information systems, which enables organizations with disparate multi-vendor systems to function as one virtual enterprise. Utilizing HL7, DICOM, and other standards, the system helps control the flow of images, reports, messages, standard patient demographics and other important data for diagnosis and treatment planning of a patient between otherwise independent and disparate systems.
