NIO COLOR 2MP from Barco features a 2-megapixel (1,600 by 1,200 resolution), 20.1-inch color LCD, offering superior image quality under all viewing angles. The display system is optimized to display both color and grayscale medical data sets and is fully compatible with 2-D and 3-D applications. Barco carefully color matches the displays in every dual-head display system to guarantee that the color characteristics of the displays are consistent. This allows radiologists to perform their work without distracting color differences inherent in LCD panels.
The system comes with the high-performance BARCOMED 2MP2CFe display controller, which is especially designed to support 3-D PACS. The PCI Express display controller features very fast image download speeds and optimized 3-D operations through OpenGL and Microsoft DirectX 9.0. As a result, it is ready for the latest 3-D CT, MR and PET applications.
