Internet-based medical coding technology firm CodeRyte Inc. demonstrated its new vascular interventional radiology coding application. CodeRyte's new platform uses language-based statistical Web technologies and natural language processing to automatically code free-form physician dictations.
The vascular interventional radiology coding tool features integrated anatomy tools with VIR coding and provides blind quality assurance reports to eliminate coder bias. Reporting capabilities include problem coding patterns, coding engine quality, and evaluation and management coding patterns.
The application, being targeted to interventional radiology practices, is already available in the U.S.
