December 3, 2007 - CareTech Solutions, a healthcare information technology and health information management (HIM) services provider, today said it signed a multi-year IT infrastructure outsourcing contract with The Christ Hospital, a leading acute care hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Following a competitive selection process, CareTech was chosen to provide the hospital with IT infrastructure outsourcing, help desk services and web services. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
CareTech Solutions will assume responsibility for the full spectrum of IT services in support of the hospital's data center operations, help desk, desktop computing environment, network, and websites. In addition, CareTech will provide technical resources for implementation of The Christ Hospital's strategic information technology plan.
