October 6, 2010 – A fully interoperable data storage platform is available for healthcare systems. The InDex software, by InSite One, has been certified by Dell on the DX Object Storage Platform.
The certification combines the healthcare expertise of the intelligent enterprise archiving services with Dell’s peer-scaling architecture for data and storage management.
As an IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards-based vendor neutral archiving service, InDex expands the ability to access critical imaging data by providing XDS-i that allows any IHE compliant document consumer to view data within the archive. This feature further enhances the integration opportunities with EMRs and PHRs.
