Vicky Victorious is used to demonstrate presurgical anatomy, the actual procedure and the post-operative anatomy. She demonstrates the pedical tram procedure, the free tram flap, latissimus dorsi and the mastectomy implant. She comes with a video designed to help newly diagnosed patients and their family members deal with what lies ahead in a nonstressful way. The video consists of two breast cancer survivors that talk about their experience, a nurse practitioner who talks about the healing process and a reconstruction plastic surgeon who talks about the four surgical procedures that are offered, and family members of one of the survivors.
