FocusBT is designed to address the challenges faced by healthcare professionals, including bedside medication verification, pharmaceutical dispensing and patient record management.
Regardless of orientation, the system's patented FirstFlash technology increases efficiency by decoding all standard 1-D and 2-D bar codes in a single flash. It also features Metrologic's patented CodeGate and RangeGate technology. CodeGate zeros in on a desired code and completes data transmission with the push of a single button. RangeGate enables FocusBT to scan and store hundreds of bar codes when out of range of host system. FocusBT automatically downloads stored codes to host when connection is re-established.
