August 3, 2007 — Artromick recently announced the general availability of the NX10 Mobile Computing WorkStation, a point-of-care computing cart that reportedly delivers a flexible, light weight and cost effective solution for bedside data management.

The NX10 WorkStation 20 percent lighter than the previous product releases with a stable and trim-line footprint making it easy for nursing staff to maneuver through the most crowded corridors and patient rooms, according to the manufacturer.

With a 15.5” x 21” work area, configurable secure storage area and a variety of accessories including scanner holders, cup holders, mouse trays, IV poles and more, the NX10 WorkStation can be customized even once implemented in the facility.

The NX10 WorkStation supports laptop, all-in-one PC, or thin-client solutions and is designed to provide IT staff with access to internal cable routing and peripherals.

With a high resolution 17” monitor, it can accommodate a variety of laptop models from leading manufacturers including Dell, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Panasonic and Toshiba.

When configured for thin-client operation, the NX10 WorkStation can support a variety of brands including Neoware and WYSE.

Today, the NX10 Workstation delivers better than 90 percent efficiency resulting in a nine percent run time increase. In addition, the NX10 WorkStation offers 91 percent battery recharge efficiency for shorter recharge times, according to the manufacturer.
