October 16, 2007 - Arizant Healthcare Inc. will introduce its solution for helping keep clinicians warm and comfortable, the Solor vest, at the 2007 American Society of Anesthesiologists annual meeting in San Francisco, Oct. 14-17.
Clinicians have long remarked about feeling cold as a result of working in sometimes chilly clinical settings. The Solor vest is designed with clinician comfort in mind. Using warming technology powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, the vest features two temperature settings. A single battery charge lasts up to six hours, and additional batteries are available separately so users can easily swap out a depleted battery for a fully-charged unit.
The Solor vest’s mobile warming technology reportedly allows clinicians to maintain freedom of movement. It is latex free, features a fleece-free outer shell and is machine washable.
