March 5, 2007 - The American Medical Group Association (AMGA) recently presented the annual Medical Group Preeminence Award to three member medical groups: Geisinger Health System, Vanderbilt Medical Group and Virginia Mason Medical Center, at AMGA's 2007 Annual Conference, held February 28 through March 3, 2007 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, AZ.
The AMGA Medical Group Preeminence Award is presented annually to AMGA member groups or IPA physician-administrator leadership teams for exceptional leadership; innovation and vision; contributions to the advancement of quality; effective health care delivery practices and structure; and outstanding contributions to the local public community in which the medical group or IPA is located.
