Imaging control capabilities for 3D Conformal, Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and dynamic targeting for Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) are integrated in Varian’s 4D Integrated Treatment Console. The 4D console streamlines the front end of the treatment process by integrating controls of the linear accelerator, multileaf collimator (MLC) and electronic portal imagery into a single workstation. The system supports advanced imaging, including image acquisition.
