This is a 360 view of Treatment Room 3 (of 4) at the Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center in Warrenville, Ill. This room, also known as the inclined beam room, is unique because it allows patients to be treated with proton therapy in a seated position, which can improve targeting for cancers in the chest region. It also sports a P-Cure vertical computed tomography (CT) scanner — the only one in the U.S. — so patients can be scanned in the treatment position.
