Herlev Hospital, to the northwest of Copenhagen, delivered the fast and efficient RapidArc treatment to a prostate cancer patient using a Clinac iX linear accelerator.
May 18, 2009 - Varian Medical Systems introduced at the GEC-ESTRO exhibition in Porto, Portgual, on May 14-16, 2009, BrachyVision Acuros, which is designed to enable clinicians to rapidly calculate patient doses for brachytherapy treatments (a form of radiotherapy) with an extremely high level of accuracy.
