Positron Corp. announced the release of the PosiRx 3000-Series, its latest pharmacy automation systems. The PosiRx 3000-Series are the first systems to automate and encompass the complete compounding process, from generator elution to dose distribution, of multiple diagnostic SPECT agents in an environment engineered to be ISO Class 5 and USP 797 compliant. Designed for facilities dispensing as many as 300 patient-specific doses per day, the PosiRx 3000-Series will benefit providers and patients by enabling unit dose radiopharmaceuticals to be prepared more cost effectively and accurately than previously possible.
August 14, 2012 — Positron Corp. announced the transfer, consolidation and integration of its radiopharmaceutical operations from the Crown Point, Ind. facility to its Lubbock, Texas site.
January 20, 2012 – Nuclear cardiology imaging company Positron Corp. this week acquired Manhattan Isotope Technology LLC (MIT). Positron has acquired all of the assets, business operations and retained all employees of MIT. In exchange, MIT shall receive cash advances, assumption of certain indebtedness and earn-out consideration of $3.5 million based on 20 percent of the net income from sales relating to radioisotope and radiopharmaceutical operations of MIT.
June 14, 2011 – Positron, a molecular imaging company specializing in the field of nuclear cardiology, is relocating its corporate headquarters, research and development and product manufacturing facilities to Noblesville, Ind. Positron also plans to develop a high-energy 70 MeV cyclotron project and radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility, also to be located in Noblesville.
