July 30, 2014 — Konica Minolta Medical Imaging announced a partnership with Del Medical, a source of radiography products that brings together Konica Minolta’s AeroDR wireless panel with Del Medical’s X-ray systems for a complete digital radiography solution.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave 510(k) clearance to Delphinus Medical Technologies Inc. for its SoftVue whole breast ultrasound tomography system, approved for diagnostic breast imaging.
Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA announced that it will collaborate with UMG / Del Medical, a leading provider of radiography products, to design a new DR system that will enhance the use of the Konica Minolta Aero DR flat panel technology when used in conjunction with a Del radiographic system. Once this project is completed, some Del Medical systems will allow seamless integration with the Konica Minolta Aero DR and provide cable-based communication for image transfer for both the X-ray table and upright Bucky systems. This configuration will also continuously charge the Aero DR panel, eliminating the need to remove the panel for charging.
November 13, 2009 - Del Global Technologies Corp. said it reached an agreement in Principle with United Marketing Group (UMG) to transfer certain assets and the product lines of Del Medical Imaging from Del Global to UMG.
The parties target to have the transaction completed prior to the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) trade show beginning at the end of this month.
