Client Outlook, a leading provider of FDA Class II enterprise diagnostic and clinical image viewing solutions, announced its partnership with DocPanel Technologies to support a progressive alternative to traditional radiology reading services.

The implementation of electronic health records (EHR) has created an expectation that all patient data, including images, should be available in one location. Today, reports describing images are not enough, as many referring physicians want to see the images, and many use them to help guide therapies. This has caused an increased demand to exchange medical images in the various departments of healthcare settings. 

Client Outlook announced that Connecticut Children’s Medical Center will be using eUnity as its enterprise image viewing platform. Connecticut Children’s is a not-for-profit hospital, providing pediatric services in more than 30 specialties. eUnity will be providing images to clinicians located throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Client Outlook announced in November that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared its eUnity viewing platform for diagnostic reading of mammography images.
