April 2, 2021 — Elsevier, a global leader in research publishing and information analytics, announced a partnership with MDinteractive, a Qualified Registry with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), to include the CMS Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Measures within Elsevier’s STATdx, a leadingradiology diagnostic decision support solution. The partnership will provide STATdx customers who participate in the CMS Quality Payment Program (QPP) with updates to MIPS Measures within their current workflow.
MIPS follows a traditional fee-for-service structure, with the CMS determining a clinician’s final payment amount based on their measured “score” across four categories: Quality, Promoting Interoperability, Improvement Activities, and Cost. STATdx users will receive access to the latest Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology MIPS Measures validated by MDinteractive. This provides clinicians with a guide to ensure that they are continuing to provide high-quality patient care, while helping them stay on track of their goal of achieving high-performing MIPS scores.
STATdx has proven to be a vital solution in the field of radiology by offering crucial insights on complex images. This partnership with MDinteractive will provide even more value by ensuring that clinicians are meeting the goals for industry standards of care while also allowing them to evaluate their own levels of success to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
