Company will also rebrand its PACS and RIS products as Exceed PACS and Exceed RIS

February 7, 2017 — In December, IntellaPACS LLC announced its corporate name change to Emergent Connect LLC. As of Jan. 1, 2017, Emergent Connect LLC will launch a new company website and introduce an updated corporate identity. The company's headquarters will remain in Lakeway, Texas.

The IntellaPACS name has been used for the past five years and it currently supports 47,000 users and serves 67,000 connected facilities located in all 50 states. Along with the name change, IntellaPACS will adopt the new Emergent Connect brand identity, and all future business activity will be conducted under the new name.

The adoption of the Emergent Connect name unites the growing digital imaging and software business and better supports the needs of customers through a consistent brand while leveraging resources across all the business divisions in the United States. While Emergent Connect is still providing its solutions through a partnership with a leading national teleradiology service provider, the company is now expanding the availability of its offerings to the entire healthcare marketplace.

In conjunction with the name change, Emergent Connect is introducing the Exceed PACS (picture archiving and communication system) and Exceed RIS (radiology information system) product lines, formerly known as Intella PACS and Intella RIS, a single-platform PACS and RIS solution that delivers superior medical imaging and advanced workflow management driven by a zero-footprint, 100 percent cloud-based architecture.
