July 1, 2016 — Mach7 Technologies announced it will participate in the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) pilot program, Image Share Validation. The company will also be exhibiting at the annual Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting, June 29 - July 1 in Portland, Ore.

RSNA is setting the standard for image sharing consistency and encouraging imaging vendors and radiology sites to adopt these standards. This universal set of protocols and capabilities will enable informed care decisions, enhanced communication and improved patient safety.

"Interoperability has been recognized as one of the biggest gaps in health information technology," commented David Mendelson, M.D., FACR, vice chair of radiology IT at the Mount Sinai Health System and principal investigator on the RSNA Image Share project. "We are pleased that Mach7 is part of our pilot program to rapidly advance standards-based solutions for imaging interoperability. We welcome the participation of Mach7 in this effort to promote the well-being and care of all patients.”
