December 9, 2015 — Calgary Scientific Inc. announced a partnership with Data Distributing to extend mobile image access to their current suite of vendor neutral image distribution solutions. The partnership will help physicians make more informed decisions by enabling quick and secure access to medical images using desktop, Web or mobile devices.

Data Distributing is a provider of imaging solutions that streamline workflow and increase patient throughput. The addition of ResolutionMD to their portfolio offers Data Distributing’s clients access to medical images, enabling healthcare providers to confidently perform clinical diagnoses and treatment decisions from Web and mobile devices, using a solution that is Class II U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared.

ResolutionMD enables doctors to securely view patient images and reports from a wide variety of computers and mobile devices, collaborate with other practitioners and diagnose from any location. The software can be integrated into any electronic medical record (EMR) and easily plugs into existing distributed storage systems.

Both companies demonstrated their products at the 2015 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting, Nov. 29-Dec. 3 in Chicago.
