May 26, 2015 — IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A.) announced the release of the StealthChamber for improved accuracy and efficiency in small field dosimetry with stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SRS/SBRT).
The device is a perturbation-free “beam invisible” reference signal chamber for relative dosimetry. It can be easily attached to the linear accelerator (linac) accessory tray in plug-and-play fashion, useable with any existing water phantom; the unit remains mounted throughout all measurements. This helps users avoid frequent trips into the linac room to make adjustments.
