December 11, 2014 — The American College of Radiology (ACR) Mammography Case Review (MCR) Online improves physicians’ breast cancer detection skills by supplementing real world experience with electronic cases. This interactive eLearning program is a self-paced review that features a state-of-the-art interface with an interactive image detection mechanism to enhance learning.
The mobile compatible program offers image quality and a viewer control of brightness, contrast, zoom and pan of images. Expert feedback is integrated throughout the program, and scoring is provided by category. Real-time benchmarking allows learners to compare their performance to their peers.
The new MCR Online offers expert rationales, links to PubMed references and automatic bookmarking, pause and resume features to easily claim and print and track credits. MCR Online also allows users to:
· Focus on digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy
· Demonstrate appropriate application of BI-RADS Atlas 5th edition descriptors and assessment categories for U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations
· Distinguish normal and abnormal anatomic structures and breast lesions for biopsy
Participants may claim 15 AMA PRA category 1 credits and equivalent SA-CME for completing the MCR online program.
