Cost-efficient Acuson X600 system features advanced imaging technologies and optimized workflow

Siemens, Acuson X600, RSNA 2014

Nov. 4, 2014 — Siemens Healthcare announces the availability of the Acuson X600, a cost-effective new ultrasound system with advanced technologies migrated from premium Siemens systems and workflow efficiencies for clinical applications in general imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiology.

The latest addition to Siemens’ popular Acuson X Family of mid-range ultrasound systems, the Acuson X600 system is engineered on a robust system architecture and equipped with advanced imaging technologies such as real-time spatial compounding and tissue contrast technique for artifact reduction and improved border detection, offering improved detail and contrast resolution. Three new volume transducers provide enhanced 3-D/4-D image quality for clear visualization of complex fetal and maternal anatomy. A suite ofsyngo knowledge-based workflow tools simplify measurements and reduce keystrokes and inter-operator variability to achieve a new level of productivity.

Upgradable as needs and budgets change, the Acuson X600 system will benefit from software and hardware technologies pioneered on higher-end Siemens systems, enabling the Acuson X600 system to evolve to meet clinical demands in general imaging, OB/GYN and shared service environments for years of critical service.

The products/features here mentioned are not commercially available in all countries. Due to regulatory reasons their future availability cannot be guaranteed.
