August 4, 2014 — e2v will be exhibiting at the 56th annual ASTRO Symposium in New York, Sept. 14-17. The company plans to showcase its new blue top magnetron, along with its solid-state modulator and RF Subsystems.
The 3.1MW MG7095 magnetron is a form fit replacement for the vendor’s MG5193 magnetron, which is found in radiotherapy systems throughout the world. The MG7095 offers higher peak and average power than the MG5193. The improved internal design enables better rotational stability for reliable dose delivery and is designed to work with both line type modulators and e2v’s solid state modulators.
e2v’s RF sub-systems help maximize optimum performance with linear accelerators. These systems can be customized to meet specific requirements.
