July 11, 2014 — DICOM Grid, a provider of cloud-based imaging solutions, announced that KLAS Research has ranked the company as a top performing vendor in its new report, Image Exchange 2014: Delivering Value in an Enterprise World.
The report explores the performance, customer loyalty and business impact of cloud-based image exchange vendors. KLAS evaluated the offerings of seven vendors, and formally ranked four: DICOM Grid, DR Systems, lifeIMAGE and Nuance (Accelarad). DICOM Grid’s core product line, DG Suite, earned a high score of 89.9 out of 100, and tied for first place in overall performance.
DICOM Grid manages more than 1.2 billion images for clients worldwide, who use its secure, HIPAA-compliant imaging software to facilitate CD ingestion, image sharing, patient transfers, remote reads and disaster recovery. DICOM Grid earned especially strong reviews from clients polled in the areas of functionality and confidence in future development, receiving the highest scores for setting up new users. Regarding setup, one customer commented, “It is ridiculously easy to set up new users on DG Suite. I just need their name and email address, and that is it.”
In a side-by-side comparison, KLAS also reported that DICOM Grid received the highest rating for its “Implementation & Training.” In addition, the report found that of the customers interviewed, 100 percent cited DICOM Grid to be part of their long-term plans.
