Konica Minolta Digital Radiography DR Systems Orthopedic Imaging ImagePilot

March 19, 2014 — Konica Minolta Medical Imaging showcased solutions ideal for orthopedic practices at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) 2014 Annual Meeting, March 12-15 in New Orleans, La. Two newly released systems, ImagePilot Aero and Sonimage P3, were introduced for the first time to orthopedic surgeons. The company also highlighted the ImagePilot Sigma, a solution for practices looking to convert to digital radiography.

The solutions feature remote viewing capabilities and the Informity cloud based service to allow orthopedic surgeons to view high-quality images during patient consultation or in the surgical suite.

ImagePilot Aero is Konica Minolta’s newest all-in-one solution for digital imaging, now available with viewing capabilities on an iPad or tablet computer. It combines the ImagePilot workstation with the flexible AeroDR wireless panel.  Similarly, the ImagePilot Sigma provides an integrated workflow, from patient registration to long-term storage.

The Sonimage P3 is Konica Minolta’s newest innovation in point-of-care primary imaging. This handheld, durable ultrasound delivers high image quality in B-mode, M-mode and Doppler, with simple to access presets.
