March 4, 2014 — Barco announced the launch of Eonis 24-inch clinical display, which comes either standard (black) or with a fully cleanable front glass panel (white). The display is designed to provide healthcare specialists with consistent image quality and healthcare IT professionals with management tools for centrally controlling their clinical display fleet.
The Eonis models meet disinfection guidelines and the front glass panel can withstand cleaning agents with up to 70 percent alcohol.
Barco’s Eonis clinical displays are equipped with a front-of-screen consistency sensor that automatically aligns image quality every time the display is switched on. This allows healthcare specialists to consult with remote colleagues efficiently and confidently, knowing that everyone is seeing identical images.
Additionally, the 24-inch screen can be positioned in portrait orientation, providing specialists with more flexibility when viewing skeletal radiography images or patient lists. With 1,920 x 1,200 screen resolution, Eonis 24 can be used to view high-detail images.
Eonis displays come with Barco’s MediCal QAWeb online service for quality assurance and remote asset management. MediCal QAWeb provides automated quality assurance checks and detailed reports. The service makes it easy for IT staff to centrally and remotely manage and configure displays across the healthcare organization.
