HA85 PUR Relief is first FDA-registered skin care product for chemotherapy, radiation burns
January 21, 2013 — American MD Labs’ HA85 PUR Relief skin care products are formulated to soothe symptoms related to chemotherapy and radiation treatment such as extremely dry skin, burns and muscle pain.
HA85 PUR Relief contains hyaluronan, a naturally occurring polysaccharide that repairs skin tissues by embedding cells and fibrous constituents such as collagen and elastin. Hyaluronan binds 1,000 times its weight in water, which can contribute to skin tissue hydration. HA85 PUR Relief uses three different molecular weights of hyaluronan: 1 million daltons, 50,000 daltons and 5,000 daltons, which work on, under and deep under the surface of the skin, respectively.
HA85 PUR Relief combines peptide technology with quaternary ammines to restore cellular membrane balance and treat radiation burns. HA85 PUR Relief’s key ingredients are designed to mimic the skin’s structure and auto-adjust pH to optimize production of enzymes that naturally heal wounds and promote skin homeostasis.
Allantoin works as an anti-irritant and skin protectant, increases water content of the extracellular matrix and promotes cell replication.
HA85 PUR Relief endeavors to provide deep hydration, relief and protection before, during and after treatment. The HA85 PUR Relief Professional Series will be available in both gel and spray applications and are water-free.
