November 12, 2013 — Intelerad Medical Systems announced the launch of InteleConnect Patterns, an optional service built into the InteleConnect Referring Physician Portal that provides radiology groups with key analytics regarding their base of referring physicians.

“InteleConnect Patterns provides a competitive advantage to radiology groups by providing business intelligence sourced directly from their Referring Physician Portal,” said Rick Rubin, chief engineering officer, Intelerad. “By analyzing this information, groups gain a better understanding of their referrer base, which allows them to develop strategies to promote further engagement and grow their business.”

In analyzing the geographic, behavioral and acquisition data provided by InteleConnect Patterns, radiology organizations are able to gain a deeper understanding of where most of their referrals come from, the proportion of new versus returning visitors, how often they use the radiology group’s Referring Physician Portal and which type of device they use to access it. Further navigational data provides key information about how referring physicians reach the portal, how they browse within the available features, such as viewing key images, and the amount time spent before exiting. Dashboards and reports can also be set up to monitor changes in traffic patterns or other statistics.
