October 18, 2013 — Swissray International Inc., a manufacturer of direct digital radiography (ddR) systems, announced they have sold their ddRElement to Tower Radiology Center in Tampa, Fla. and Capital Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Flowood, Miss.
“The Element is a clean-looking machine that is designed to perform any exam,” said Christy Bailey, site supervisor and X-ray technologist, Tower Radiology. “It has proved to be an efficient unit, and we are able to continue to have high throughput. The tube and the detector can go very low to the floor, allowing almost all exams to be done upright. The system is very easy to maneuver and to position. We have partnered with Swissray for nine years and have been very pleased with our equipment and the service they provide.”
