October 3, 2014 — Upgrades featured at the 2014 Radiological Society of North American Annual Meeting (RSNA) for the DX-D 100 wireless, mobile digital radiography (DR) system will include improved workflow and connectivity as well as low noise and dose capabilities.
The Agfa DX-D 100 is a mobile, direct digital X-ray unit. Combining full mobility with high-quality image processing, the unit provides improved patient comfort and safety with precision positioning for imaging in mobile environments.
Designed for bedside use, the system can handle a broad range of general radiography X-ray studies and offers a very short exposure time, resulting in high-quality images for immediate quality control (QC) review. The higher productivity and image quality translate into lower cost per exam and higher diagnostic efficiency for imaging facilities of all sizes.
The DX-D 100 is available with the DX-D 30C wireless, a portable DR detector. This provides full mobility with high image quality when imaging even the least mobile patients. The wireless capability increases flexibility and improves the overall radiology workflow. With no trailing cable, there is less chance of picking up dirt and germs from the floor, making it ideal for use in intensive care units (ICUs), emergency departments, and operating rooms (ORs). Additionally, the unit can be effectively used in confined spaces.
